Aston Martin hasn’t been in the supercar arena much in the past couple of years. But the Valkyrie was developed in partnership with Red Bull Racing. The car is not only beautiful to look at, but is also very fast. Very few cars can handle the type of performance that the Aston Martin Valkyrie does.

There are two production cycles for the car, the AMR Pro production and general production. The AMR Pro is limited to 25 units and the general production cycle is 150 units.

8: AMR Pro Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio – Starting Price: $3 Million

Not only is the AMR Pro Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio a rare car, but it also costs a pretty penny. This hypercar was developed as a tribute to Sergio Pininfarina. He was the former chairman of Ferrari and was instrumental in many well-known designs. There were only six units of this car put into production.

7: Dodge Viper Concept VM-02 – Starting Price: $3 Million

Finally, we have the car that was responsible for birthing the Dodge Viper. The Concept VM-02 was unveiled in 1989. There was a large amount of hype and anticipation behind the fact that Chrysler was going to unveil a supercar. There was a lot to like about the VM-02 which made it a notable choice for automotive enthusiasts.

6: Lamborghini Veneno Roadster – Starting Price $4.5 Million

If you haven’t seen this Lamborghini driving around the streets of Hollywood it’s because production was limited. The Veneno Roadster was designed to celebrate the companies the fiftieth anniversary. With a formula, one feels and a beautiful exterior the Veneno Roadster is unlike anything else on the road right now.

5: Maybach Exelero – Starting Price: $8 Million

Developed in partnership with Bugatti, the Maybach Exelero is one of the rarest hypercars in the world. The Maybach Exelero had a unique style to it that looks unlike anything else on the market right now. With a top speed of 236 mph, the Exelero is perhaps the fastest car to bear a Maybach badge. Likewise, there were only 40 examples put into production.

Maybach hasn’t marketed another supercar since the Exelero. To this day, the Exelero is by far one of the rarest supercars on the road.

4: Bugatti Centodieci – Starting Price: $9 Million

The Bugatti brand is synonymous with the hypercar community. Thus, the Centodieci is a prime example of a beautiful hypercar. The 8,000cc quad-turbocharged W16 engine produces 1,578 horsepower. The car was designed to pay homage to the Bugatti maker’s 110th birthday.

Production of the Centodieci was limited to 10 units, which is what makes the car such a unique proposition and such an expensive choice.

3: Rolls Royce Sweptail – Starting Price: $13 Million

Rolls-Royce isn’t a brand that comes to mind when it comes to supercars. But the Sweptail was a handcrafted piece of magic. The entire body of the car was handcrafted together to create a coupe that has a 1930s feeling to it. On top of the classic styling, the performance of the Sweptail is also notable.

Speaking of the most expensive car in the world, the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta was just that in 2019. Boasting a powerful 789bhp engine, the Zonda had a top speed of 221 miles per hour. The Pagani Zonda is the fastest Zonda model that has been produced thus far. Hypercars offer a lot of fun and excitement for a high price tag, and the Zonda is among the most notable.
