21. Austin Atlantic
The UK car industry relied heavily on exporting in the post-war years. This was the only way to survive in changing market as a result. Realizing that America is the biggest and most profitable market, Austin decided to present a nice-looking convertible designed for US buyers (via National Motor Museum).

The car was called Austin A90 Atlantic because of the ocean. It had excellent features, a 2.6-liter straight-six engine, and decent power. It should have been a success but failed miserably. Austin made around 8,000 examples and only 350 ended up in the States due to it busting.
