22. Pontiac Bonneville
The Bonneville was one of the most legendary names in the GM stable. Introduced in 1958, the Bonneville was always a prestigious sedan due to its popularity. However, the best years for this model were in the mid-’60s. The success of the GTO affected the whole Pontiac range. Pontiacs became sportier, more powerful, and aggressive as a result. Even the four-door sedans became performance machines. The luxurious Bonneville was the best example thanks to its many features (via Auto Evolution).

The Bonneville was restyled for 1965. But in 1966 design matured and evolved into a low, and sleek form. As a result, this was perfect for the model. Bonneville came as a hardtop with Pontiac’s signature wide-track design. Therefore, customers got a lot of optional equipment and powerful engines.
