26: 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder
The final incarnation of the MR2 Spyder is a car that few car fans remember. At one point, it was one of the least popular models in the Toyota lineup. Consumers just didn’t have much interest in a two-seat sports car, and if they did, their money was going toward the Mazda Miata. But this mid-engined roadster has now become more popular (via Car & Driver).

A new generation of consumers who grew up when the MR2 Spyder was brand new can now purchase one. Thus, the nostalgia has started to increase the price of the car dramatically, and the MR2 is set to become a collector’s item. There is no denying the appeal of this car, and that appeal will only grow as time goes on.
