There was a time when cars and trucks were far from fuel-efficient, but the new modern engines have completely changed that. Even as electric cars become the norm, gasoline-powered offerings will stay for a while. The fuel efficiency of cars will only become more important as time matches on.

Some cars are way more fuel-efficient than others, and they are leaps and bounds more fuel-efficient than cars were just a decade ago.
