21. Lincoln LS
Another high-performance luxury sedan that came out during the early 2000s was the Lincoln LS. While you might not equate the Lincoln brand with speed or performance, the LS was a step in the right direction. Lincoln was going for a younger demographic when the LS was released. Power was derived from the same V8 engine that could be found in the X-Type R, which gave the LS an exceptional amount. The LS was a step above the Town Car, which had been the staple of the Lincoln lineup for decades.

Although the LS didn’t achieve the sales volume Ford execs hoped for, the sedan was still an ample performer. There were a lot of issues with reliability in regards to the transmission. But the good thing about buying a used car is that many of these problems have already been remedied. If you are looking for one of the last big, V8-powered sedans, the LS stands out. You get the refinement of a Lincoln and throaty V8 of a muscle car. It’s the best of both worlds if you love performance but don’t want to sacrifice.
