33: Cadillac XLR

What was a Chevy Corvette with a fancier bow, the XLR is perhaps one of the most underrated luxury cars that you can get. Boasting a powerful 320 hp engine the XLR is a beast no matter which way you slice it. The styling of the car was beautiful and in line with most of the Cadillac styling at that time. To have a Corvette without the prestige of the Corvette badge has helped the XLR to be quite the bargain in the performance world. If you are lucky enough to find an XLR-V edition, you’ll have found a piece of automotive history.

Much of what the Corvette was lacking in terms of interior refinement the XLR has made up for. This is still a two-door roadster but the vast majority of what makes the Corvette great is still here. 32: 1999 Lexus IS300

You aren’t going to find a much better bargain in a compact Japanese sport sedan than the original IS300. When this car was introduced to the American market in 1998 it created quite a stir in the automotive process. The clean styling of the car was reminiscent of the much larger GS300 sedan, and that resonated with the younger buyers. With the bulletproof 2.0-liter 3S-GE inline-four-cylinder engine the IS300 performance quite well against the compact sedans it competed against.

Resale prices for the IS300 have remained affordable and the vast majority of these cars have been well maintained. There was a limited-edition wagon model that was made in 2004-05 which is even harder to come by. The Acura Integra was not as refined on the inside as the IS300 and that bodes well for the model. Lexus has continued to pioneer the model as time has gone on, but the original model is exceptional.

31: Infiniti M45

When the Infiniti marquee first hit the scene in the ’90s, it had a hard time competing with the more successful Lexus brand. But at the turn of the millennium, the M45 was another chance to try and take a jab at the Lexus LS400. The M45 was a beautiful sedan with an elongated styling and a powerful V8 engine. Easily one of the best sedans to come out from Infiniti in the last decade, but the car was not a sales success. 30: 1999 Lincoln Navigator

The Lincoln Navigator was arguably the big burly SUV that started it all. It was the first luxury SUV that sparked the craze of Escalades and rims that we saw throughout the 2000s. Lincoln did a great job with differentiating the Navigator from its platform-mate the Expedition. The interior was a lot more refined with plenty of luxury features to wrap drivers in. This included new captain’s chairs in the rear and a built-in entertainment center for passengers to enjoy. A lot of what the original Navigator included were first-time advancements for a luxury SUV.

There was also a different engine choice which was the In-Tech V8, boasting a lot of new technology over the Triton V8 in the Expedition. 29: Oldsmobile Bravada
