33: Cadillac XLR
What was a Chevy Corvette with a fancier bow, the XLR is perhaps one of the most underrated luxury cars that you can get. Boasting a powerful 320 hp engine the XLR is a beast no matter which way you slice it. The styling of the car was beautiful and in line with most of the Cadillac styling at that time. To have a Corvette without the prestige of the Corvette badge has helped the XLR to be quite the bargain in the performance world. If you are lucky enough to find an XLR-V edition, you’ll have found a piece of automotive history.

Much of what the Corvette was lacking in terms of interior refinement the XLR has made up for. This is still a two-door roadster but the vast majority of what makes the Corvette great is still here. With the right upgrades and a low mileage example, you can have a screaming road car that will compete with the best of what’s available right now. The XLR has managed to carve quite the niche for itself in recent years in the collector’s community but the pricing is still affordable.
