29: Oldsmobile Bravada
In addition to the Lincoln Navigator, there was also another domestic luxury SUV offering that hit the market in the 1990s. The Bravada was the first and only SUV to ever wear an Oldsmobile badge. The suspension that the Bravada had was the “Smart-Trac” system which was a pioneering suspension for GM at the time. The interior was a massive upgrade over the original Chevy Blazer that it was based on. On top of that, the Bravada was a sales success for the brand up until the model was discontinued in 2004.

The luxury SUV market has changed a lot in the last decade and the Bravada was one of the pioneers. Oldsmobile didn’t make it into the next decade as the brand was discontinued altogether. If you want a great luxury SUV for a bargain the Bravada is well worth looking into. With a great price point and the stellar reliability of the Vortec V6, you can’t go wrong with the Bravada.
