28: Chevrolet Chevy II
Talk about a rush job, the Chevy II was rushed to the market to compete with the Ford Falcon. There wasn’t a lot that the car brought to the table in terms of design, other than being affordably priced. But with that affordable price, a lot of the quality was left to the wayside and the Chevy II got a bad reputation. A lot of consumers had noted pieces of the interior falling apart when the car was new and the engine needing tedious work to stay on the road. Nevertheless, the Chevy II amassed a lot of hype and wasn’t that good.

In secondary life, the car has managed to garner a lot of attention. Resale values have been rising and the car is a solid performer on the track with a little bit of work. Engine swaps are the most common upgrade for the car in the collectors market. Doing an LS swap will completely change how this car drives and feels, which has increased interest a little bit.
