30: Plymouth Satellite
Another car that was skyrocketed into the future with noteworthy advertising and media coverage was the Plymouth Satellite. The car had a lot of interesting features at the time and was marketed as the flagship sedan for the company. The Satellite was for a while the top model in the Plymouth lineup, and that bolded well for the brand. Performance of the Satellite came from the 273 cu in (4.5 L) V8. This was the standard engine but other engines were optional as well.

The Plymouth Satellite was available in a sedan, coupe, and convertible. The car did a great job of introducing new buyers into the Plymouth showrooms. There was never a special performance version of the Satellite to become iconic, and thus the car faded into obscurity as Plymouth shifted the brand focus on newer models.
