27: Chevrolet Corvair 95 Rampside Pickup
Although pickup trucks weren’t the hot commodity that they are nowadays, automakers have always constantly tried to improve the design. GM took it a step further with the Chevrolet Corvair 95 Rampside Pickup. This interesting design was influenced by the popularity of the VW Microbus at the time. The ramp side of the truck bed made loading and unloading surprisingly easy, and the low wheelbase helped things out as well. Then you had the fact that the truck with a built-in ramp was a major accomplishment at the time.

Aside from that Corvair 95 also had a modern look, albeit the engine was crammed under the truck bed. Doing maintenance was not the most practical thing to do on the Corvair 95 because of the design. The design of the truck was just a little too forward-thinking at the time and it didn’t catch on like you’d expect a vehicle this revolutionary too.
