28: Improper Exhaust Welding
According to a CNET report, Ford owners have complained to the company about suffering from symptoms that are related to carbon monoxide poisoning. Bert Henriksen complained about suffering from migraine headaches and fatigue after driving his 2017 Ford Explorer. This is not an isolated problem either according to the report, and Ford has begun to investigate owners’ claims about the problem. There are currently more than 50 legal claims against the company about this according to Bloomberg.
Police departments around the country have also jumped onto the bandwagon stating that exhaust fumes are doing the same thing to officers. This would be an even more likely problem because police cruisers are generally left to idle for long periods. This is a problem that Ford is going to want to fix before it becomes something major.
