27: Drivetrain Noise
Ther’s no doubt that Ford is doing a lot to improve the quality of their vehicles. But many customers are still claiming that there are issues of undercarriage noise. Generally, this happens on older model vehicles that have a bit of mileage on them. In the case of the complaints however these are recent-model vehicles such as the F-150. The different Ford models have been known to make a racket from time to time, but this has to do with exhaust clamping and transmission noise.

According to reports filed by the NHTSA, there have been over 80 complaints filed in regard to transmission noise. Ford hasn’t addressed these complaints publicly and a quick Google search will reveal more complaints. This has to do with the most recent models of the popular F-150 pickup truck and it is due time Ford addresses these complaints.
