26: Flickering Check Engine Lights
A common complaint among the new generation of the F-150 truck is a flickering check engine light. Consumers have posted complaints on message forums trying to address this problem to no avail. The F-150 does have an active fuel management system and the engine shuts off when the vehicle is at a stop. Ford would be wise to get this issue fixed and address it as a recall before the consumers start to grow weary. A new pickup truck shouldn’t have these types of issues and a lot of consumers are seriously upset.

Given that the F-150 comes alongside a hefty price tag, there’s good reason to make sure it is reliable. The check engine light problem could be related to the other issues that pertain to the current generation truck. Ford has been working to improve the quality, but a lot of this technology is still new to the vehicle.
