54: Napa Valley: Silverado Trail
Most know Napa Valley is one of the most well-known places in the world. Wine is shipped far and wide from this wonderful corridor of the bay area. The Silverado Trail is landmarked because it was one of the first areas that were discovered during the “Gold Rush” era. Most of this area is taken over by vineyards nowadays and in between that you can find a stellar restaurant to dine at.

Celebrities are known to frequent this area often in addition to the usual fare of residents. The feeling is here welcoming and the drive on a warm summer day is exceptional. The twists and turns make for a never-ending array of excellent driving, and the proximity to the ocean makes for a stellar day trip. California has a lot of wine country to visit but the Silverado Trail is by far one of the most popular destinations to stop at. Even if you don’t enjoy wine, the drive alone is well worth it.
