49: Route 66
Tentatively known as America’s Main Street, Route 66 runs through the center of Oklahoma. Therefore, driving through Route 66 in Oklahoma is very scenic and fun to do. There are lots of historical points that you can visit, many of which are Native American. The most prominent places to visit on your trip are the Arcadia Round Barn and the Catoosa Whale. There are also numerous Route 66 museums along the way.

Truck rest stops are a common occurrence in Oklahoma and many of these places have wonderful restaurants and gift shops. There is also the massive Cherokee Casino which is bound to attract many tourists with its Vegas-style buffet and gaming. Route 66 is an American pastime no matter what state you are visiting it in. You are bound to find some fun to do stuff along this amazing journey.
