19: Plymouth Prowler
Released shortly after the Plymouth brand was discontinued in 2001, the Prowler was a carryover model. The problem was that Chrysler didn’t do anything to supplement the existing car. There was no improvement in the powerplant or styling. Basically, the same engine you’d get in the run-of-the-mill Dodge Intrepid powered the Prowler (via Car Throttle).

The Chrysler brand in itself has never had a dedicated sports car that became popular. So it’s no wonder the Prowler was left to dry out on dealership lots. The retro-inspired roadster didn’t cut the mustard when it came to performance. That’s not to mention the fact that the Prowler was limited with its appeal and had a high price tag.
