The motorcycle is often more than just a mode of transportation; it’s also a status symbol. Having a motorcycle can invoke a sense of freedom that owning a car alone simply does not. Celebrities have a lot of discretionary income, and the motorcycle is often one of the first toys they add to their vehicle collection. Custom motorcycles have been a hot commodity for celebrities since the early 2000s. There seems to be a slowdown in this popularity either.
You’d think a celebrity would drive around in a limousine but that isn’t always the case. For celebrities who live in urban areas such as Santa Monica and Venice Beach, it isn’t uncommon to see them riding around town on a motorcycle. Then there are the celebs who simply collect motorcycles as a sort of status symbol. We took a look at the celebrities who are real-life motorcycle owners right here.
25: Olivia Munn
If the name Olivia Munn doesn’t ring a bell at first, it’s because she started as a model. Since then, though, she’s become a well-known actress and television journalist. Surprisingly enough, though, before she got into acting, she was also an avid motorcyclist. She rode her bike on all kinds of long rides through the countryside as her parents taught her how to ride at an early age (via Brain Bucket).
Her bike of choice is a Yamaha sportbike, but she has been photographed with all types of bikes. She admitted in television interviews that riding as an adult was scary. She has been photographed more than once riding her bike around the streets of L.A. and adores the experience.
