24: Prevent Snakes From Entering Your Car
You’re probably thinking to yourself that you don’t want a snake under the hood. Unfortunately, if you live in Arizona or somewhere similar there is always a risk. Especially in older vehicles where there is a lot of exposed space under the hood. But don’t fret, because there are a few things that you can do to protect yourself. It should be without question that parking your car out in a field or away from your house will put it at risk. If you must park it away from the residence and out in the open you can surround the car with snake repellent pellets. These will ensure that you don’t have any unwanted visitors under your hood.

Keeping the car operating is also important because when an engine is constantly warm or being moved the snake won’t feel comfortable setting up a nest. Giving your engine a good spray down once a month can help things out, as well as the undercarriage of the car or truck. Just because you don’t look down there doesn’t mean that dirt and debris don’t build up.
