James Hetfield
Hetfield, the co-founder and lead singer of the iconic heavy metal band Metallica, is not only known for his music but also for his valuable car collection. He has several rare and unique muscle cars in his collection, including a 1936 Auburn Roadster, a 1953 Buick Skylark, and a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS, among others. Hetfield has even customized some of his cars, such as his 1956 Ford F-100, which has been given a modern update in the form of a custom chassis and a powerful V8 engine. Another unique aspect of Hetfield’s car collection is his love for custom cars and motorcycles (via America’s Car Museum).

He has worked with several renowned custom car builders and has created some truly unique and stunning vehicles. For example, he commissioned a custom car called “Black Pearl” that was built by famous custom car builder Rick Dore. The car is based on a 1948 Jaguar, and it features several unique design elements, such as a chopped roof and a custom grille. Hetfield has also commissioned several custom motorcycles, including a chopper called “Snakecharmer” which was built by renowned builder Arlen Ness.
