Earthroamer XV HD
As if the gargantuan and luxurious Ford F-750 King Ranch wasn’t outrageous enough, there’s also an RV based on this true road legal monster truck. The Earthroamer XV HD has a 6.7-liter turbo diesel V8 engine that puts out 330 horsepower and 725 Nm of torque. The engine powers all four wheels. But, this shouldn’t be much of a surprise because they built the Earthroamer for travelers who enjoy conquering the most demanding terrains in the world.
Its living cabin can accommodate up to eight people with sleeping space for six. It comes with a set of different floor plans, which are all customizable to match the customer’s requirements.
The XV HD has a 119-gallon fuel tank. It also carries 250 gallons of fresh water, 125 gallons of gray water and 125 gallons of black water. The batteries have a 20,000-watt-hour life with solar panels that add 2100 watts. Judging by the numbers, this adventure mobile is a fantastic offering for anyone with plans to escape the city and immerse themselves in nature.
But, if there’s one thing that’s a problem, it’s the price. The XV-HD starts at $1,500,000 with a required deposit of $375,000. The first two vehicles are still in production. However, the first XV HD should be completed by early fall 2017. To reserve the next one, you’ll have to wait until late 2018 or early 2019, as long as you have a million and a half dollars to spend on an RV.
