20. Dodge Charger SE
The Charger received a third and final restyling for 1971 for the classic Charger era. The car was still big and powerful with the biggest engines that Chrysler had to offer. However, for 1971 and the following years, the trend was to move the Charger into the luxury market. That is why Dodge introduced the Charger SE, for Special Edition.
This was the only 1971 Charger that had hidden headlamps, which became the Charger’s signature feature. In the following years, Chargers become more of a plush cruiser with convenience options rather than the fire-breathing muscle cars Dodge originally conceived.
