39: Subaru SVX
Subaru hasn’t always been the company that you went for to explore the outdoors; the company has also crafted a few notable exceptions. In addition to the WRX and the STI, there was also the Subaru SVX. This beautifully crafted sportscar was sold during the nineties and it had a lot going for it. Although performance wasn’t masterful or amazing, the sculpted lines and high-quality interior made it stand out. The road-hugging performance and AWD design were synonymous with what you’d expect out of Subaru.
There are a lot of things that the Subaru SVX did wrong, but the car was notably better then you’d expect. These cars have recently come into favor with the tuner community in recent decades, so you won’t find one cheaply. But the Subaru SVX is a sports car that has a lot of potential and a dedicated community of enthusiasts behind it.
