Personalizing your car is another great thing about automotive ownership, but it doesn’t always work out smoothly. Some owners tend to take the concept of customizing a vehicle to the next level and then go way overboard. Then you have automotive owners who ruin their cars with simple mistakes like not changing the oil on time or doing routine maintenance.

So we chronicled several photos of real cars ruined by irresponsible owners. Some of these vehicles were rare, high-dollar models. When you’re a true automotive enthusiast, it hurts your soul to see how some of these photos turned out.
