Hulk Hogan – Dodge Viper RT

Hulk Hogan is known for being one of the most famous wrestlers in the world, but he’s also been known for his stellar car collection. While he owns a lot of unique, great cars such as the Supra Turbo and the Yellow Fever edition Dodge Ram, he also has some ugly rides. This red and yellow Viper is a prime example of a theme gone wrong. Hogan was going to a vehicular version of his wrestling trunks and the result was something that no sane person would ever drive (via Reddit).

The Dodge Viper itself was a great-looking car, but to do this kind of obscene mess to the paint job just didn’t make any sense. The Hogan Viper is a prime example of what happens when you make too much money and waste it. The car was so ugly that most Viper enthusiasts don’t even consider it at car shows.

Will.I.Am – Volkswagen Beetle

Will.I.Am hasn’t had the best luck when it comes to spending money on ugly-looking cars, and his Volkswagen Beetle is another example of this. Will spent a good amount of money on the Beetle to have it built to his specifications. The look of the car closely resembled a classic hot rod more than anything. The styling of the car was one of the ugliest setups on a Volkswagen Beetle, and another example of why Will. I.Am should stop wasting his money (via Luxury Launches).

Will.I.Am has several weird-looking cars that he has badly built for him and the Beetle is by far one of the strangest. There were easier ways that the music producer could have found a hot rod. The Beetle experiment shows you that with money, you can have just about any monstrosity built.

Kanye West – Lamborghini Aventador

Kanye, or Ye, has been in the news a lot lately, and much of that is because of the fact that he’s a billionaire. He loves to spend money, and his car collection is one of the most well-known around. Between his cars and the rest of the Kardashian clan, he has quite the collection under his belt. But he has also done some strange things to his cars as he did with the Aventador. With a flat black paint job, the Aventador looks like it has been spray painted with a rattle can.

The Aventador itself was an amazing exotic sports car that broke all kinds of speed records. The factory paint jobs that the Aventador came in were beautiful and colorful. Nevertheless, someone like Kanye, who considers himself an artist, will paint the car however he feels like.

Zac Efron – Ford Mustang

Efron was a cornerstone of the early 2000s Disney lineup, especially when he hit his stride in the hit movie series High School Musical. But Efron was one of the few child actors who could branch his career into a full-time movie career as an adult, and he has been in many hit movies as of late. His car collection is nothing too out of the ordinary, but his Ford Mustang is perhaps the most curious addition because of how strange the design was.

Efron stated he restored the Mustang in honor of his grandfather, but the design is bland, to say the least. The utilitarian wheels are nothing like what the car originally came with from the factory. The flat black paint job is not a factory color and gave the car a hideously strange look compared to other Mustangs from this era.

Khloe Kardashian – Land Rover Range Rover

The Kardashian clan is no stranger to out-of-the-ordinary luxury, but Khloe took things a bit too far. The superstar decided that it was time to wrap her Range Rover SUV in a velvet car wrap. The result was an SUV that looked out of the ordinary and quite ugly. There is no functional reason to have a car wrapped in velvet, not to mention the high upkeep.

There aren’t many attributes that make the Velvet Range Rover an attractive car, at least none that we can find. There are so many better options for painting the exterior of an SUV. The Range Rover was such a high-dollar item and a piece of luxury that most owners generally don’t ruin or deface with such an ugly design.

Zach Randolph – Chevrolet Impala

Randolph played professionally in the NBA since the 2001 season, and with that kind of experience he built up a reasonable net worth. The Impala was one of the most well-designed cars that came out of GM, so it’s mind-boggling that someone would do the things Randolph did to his Impala.

Randolph has been a popular NBA player, which is why he was able to afford all the great cars he had in his collection. But this Impala was not his best project when it came to building a custom car. The donk style is limited in custom car design, and it takes away from the original style of the car.

Paris Hilton – Pink Bentley

Paris Hilton was the original queen of flash, and she was also one of the first celebrities to slap a pink paint job on a Bentley. But Hilton didn’t just stop there, she also had the shifter knob encrusted with diamonds. Opulence doesn’t stop there, as Hilton decided to add an oversized pair of pink 26-inch rims to the car. The Pink Bentley was the topic of many conversations when Hilton first unveiled it, but nowadays celebrities do all kinds of flashy things with cars.

Hilton still owns the pink Bentley to this day, in addition to a few other very ostentatious cars. But the Bentley was the one that started the fad of celebrities going way over the top with their rides. It was at a time when pop culture was changing and celebrities were moving more toward the influencer side of things.

Juan Uribe – Porsche Cayenne

Uribe was a well-known baseball player, so it’s no surprise that he’d take some of his net worth and purchase a custom car. The Porsche Cayenne changed the game when it was released as it was the first high-performance SUV. Long before there was the Lamborghini URUS or the Maserati offerings, there was the Porsche Cayenne. Unfortunately, he took the idea of designing his car a bit too far, and the result came out questionable.

The Cayenne from the factory was a good-looking SUV, it didn’t need a lot of modification. Uribe added a transformer-style front and rear bumper and white accented headlights that just don’t look right. Then you throw in the ugly black rims with low-profile tires, and the Cayenne has been ruined.

Darren McFadden – Buick Centurion

Darren McFadden was a popular NFL player during his generation. He was also one of the members of the bling generation, and thus enjoys spending money. Although his NFL career didn’t last very long, the star was able to purchase more than a few custom cars. The most notable vehicle in his collection was the barney purple Buick Centurion Donk, supplemented with bright green 35″ rims to finish things off.

Donks are notoriously bad cars to own and part of that blame comes from the suspension. A donk is tough to drive in normal circumstances, and when you add all the dumb stuff, it’s even worse. McFadden wasn’t smart when he wasted his money on this awful excuse for a car that looks bad and drives even worse.

Chris Brown – Lamborghini Aventador

When Chris Brown isn’t busy being featured on hit tracks he’s spending his money on cars, and the ugliest one in his collection has to be the Lamborghini Aventador. The first and main problem with this car was the oversized wide-body kits. Then the two-tone paint job was equally troubling and gave the car a hideous look. Brown has been known to go a little overboard when it comes to his vehicles and in life, so it’s no surprise here.

The Aventador has been the favorite of almost every celebrity you’ll come across. But some of the things that they’ve done to this great exotic car are jaw-dropping. Chris Brown has the money to do anything he wants to, but the Aventador is one example of something that should have been avoided.

Snooki – Cadillac Escalade

Snooki was an influencer before being an influencer was even popular, and fans followed just about everything that she did. Her taste in cars was also flashy as she was one of the first female celebrities with an Escalade. Although the method by which she went to design her Escalade was questionable at best. The flat black paint job coupled with ugly black and pink rims did nothing for the look of the car. If that wasn’t the worst part of the car the rhinestone Snooki badge on the tailgate finished it off.

Surprisingly enough, not everybody felt that the Escalade was a bad truck, it sold at auction in 2011 for a whopping $77,000. A lot of that had to do with the notoriety of Snooki herself. But from an enthusiast’s perspective, the Snooki Escalade was an ugly vehicle that could have been designed way better.

Sonny & Cher – Ford Mustangs

Surprisingly enough Sonny & Cher was two of the first celebrities to ruin a perfectly good car they ruined a pair of them. The duo commissioned a pair of his and her Mustangs that were completely different than the factory car. The Cher model was pink with a completely different front to the factory car. Sonny also got a custom Mustang but his one was a two-tone brown color that looked like it rolled out of a 1970s kitchen.

That’s not to say the Mustangs were entirely bad, as the legendary George Burris built the two cars. But it just wasn’t enough to take away from the fact that they were ugly. The Mustang was a great-looking car from the factory and it became an iconic part of automotive history. These cars were a far cry from what the Mustang should and could be, and that’s why Sonny and Cher take the cake when it comes to ruining a car.
