Lancia Stratos
In the mid-70s, Lancia wanted to go rally racing, so they made their first purpose-built rally car they named the Lancia Stratos.
But although they had the design, they didn’t have the engine, so Lancia borrowed a compact V6 from Ferrari. When powered by the Ferrari engine, the Lancia Stratos became a legend as well as the world champion for 1977.
