The 2018 model for the U.S. market comes with signature Audi TFSI technology. It packs 2.0-liters of displacement and an advanced turbocharger that delivers 220 HP to all four wheels. This four-cylinder engine is common in the VW-Audi range. It can produce from 200 to over 300 HP, depending on the engine tune.
It is a lightweight, updated unit that is efficient and impressive. In fact, it only takes 5.7 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph. For safety and regulatory reasons, Audi has electronically limited the maximum speed to 130 mph. Rumors are the TT with this engine will top 150 mph without the electronic limiter. Big things do come in small packages, at least with the Audi TT.
