32: 1991 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer
The original compact “box” from GM was a hit with consumers and serious competition for the Jeep Cherokee. With a rugged design and a notable level of comfort, these early model Blazers have begun to spike in value over the past decade. Low mileage examples have become highly coveted collector’s items and the vast majority of these are rust-free. Maintenance is simple and the ability to upgrade to a V8 engine with ease is very appealing to most potential buyers. There were four-door and two-door options at the time and a very luxurious “Tahoe” option.

These are becoming rarer as time goes on and there were also the Oldsmobile Bravada and GMC Jimmy which shared the same platform. If you want an all-around great SUV that doesn’t sacrifice then you can’t go wrong with one of these. Working on it is a sinch and the massive collection of replacement parts is very appealing, not to mention the fact that most mechanics know this vehicle like the back of their head.
