Allen has an excellent car collection. Being from Michigan, his collection pretty much centers around Detroit-made automobiles. The car that has garnered the most attention for him over the years is his 1996 Impala SS. The SS is an iconic car.

The simplistic joy of throwing the SS down straightaway is something that brings a smile to many. Tim Allen has a custom-built Impala SS. There’s nothing factory about this model, down to the ’90s-esque racing wheels. Allen also put a manual transmission into his Impala SS, which was not a factory option.
