14. Ford Taurus SHO
Ford had already made history with the first generation Taurus and Taurus SHO in the late ‘80s. However, in 1992, the FoMoCo presented a new generation with the upgraded SHO version. It featured a Yamaha designed 3.3-liter V6 engine producing 220 HP.

While that may not sound like much today, 27 years ago, this was respectable power. In fact, it managed to propel this big sedan into muscle car territory.
