’46 Ford Custom

Allen’s 1946 Ford Custom is a classic American car that was produced in the mid-’40s. The Ford Custom is a high-performance car that was designed for speed and agility, with advanced suspension and braking systems that ensure maximum performance. The unique things about the ’46 Ford Custom were its short wheelbase and convertible top. This car had all the style in the world when it originally rolled off of the assembly line (via Peterson Automotive Museum).

There were other convertibles from this era that offered similar performance. But the ’46 Custom was meant to be a fashion statement as well as something that got you from point A to point B. Allen covered his with a beautiful cherry red paint job. The peanut butter interior only adds to the one-of-a-kind style that Allen added to his Ford Custom.

’33 Ford Custom

Allen is known for his love of the modern hot rod, and without question, the 1933 Ford Custom is the epiphany of design. The design of the Ford Custom stands out from the crowd, and it has to do with the blue paint job. Unlike his ’45 Ford Custom that we mentioned above, the ’33 Custom was another car he featured a lot on Home Improvement. The chrome spoked wheels only add to the unique styling and the powder blue paint job is another one-of-a-kind detail. The interior has hand-stitched leather throughout and a modern sound system.
