40+ Hilarious Wildlife Photos That Will Never Make The Cover Of National Geographic

Let’s admit it; not all nature pictures are created equally. While some deserve to be on the cover of every wildlife magazine others, sadly, didn’t make the cut. However, there exists a unique realm for wildlife photographs that, somehow, eluded the confines of those solemn and humorless award ceremonies. The Facebook group “Crap Wildlife Photography” shares these hilarious images that are amazing in their own ways. While they may not possess the regal grandeur or breathtaking beauty that garners critical acclaim, these photographs hold a far greater appeal to those blessed with a keen sense of humor.

Just as this individual was about to capture an adorable picture of the duck, it decided to take a plunge beneath the water surface in pursuit of food, exposing its derriere above the waterline. That’s is no way to greet people, Mr. Duck! How would you like it if we stuck our back ends in your face? You wouldn’t like it at all. He must have thought someone said, “What’s up?” To which he replied, “Duck butt.”

If we had the chance, we would happily frame and display this photograph on our wall, as it manages to be hilariously bad and remarkably captivating all at once. Hopefully, the duck’s culinary adventure beneath the water surface proved fruitful, making the sacrifice of a picture well worth it.

Whoever’s grandmother dedicated the time to meticulously cross-stitch a picture of two goldfinches might be surprised to learn that someone actually attempted to capture the same scene through a window screen, only to yield a disappointingly dreadful outcome. We would have liked it much better if it were cross-stitched because that would make more sense. The picture probably would have been perfect had it not been for the window screen.

Is it a unanimous consensus among us that geese are the most undesirable avian species in existence? Their behavior tends to be impolite, confrontational, and they demonstrate a proclivity for utilizing the environment as their personal restroom. You don’t even have to get that close to them to be seen as a threat because they will attack you even if you leave them alone. When they have to put up signs that the geese are aggressive, you know it’s a real problem.

That is one bird we would not want to mess with. One can only speculate about the potential outcome if the creature had chosen to retaliate against her for disturbing its presence. We would be curled up in the fetal position after seeing this scary snake and listing the house because it would be hard to live there knowing this is lurking just outside.

Sometimes when you think a picture is good, you have to remember to share it with the right audience. Having captured this unsettling photograph, the woman decided to share it on a bird-watching group, hoping that people would recognize it as a joke. However, to her disappointment, nobody seemed to find it humorous. Although you can’t tell what these birds are, and you can barely see them, it is a cool photo.

“Na na na na na na na Possum Man!” In the most dire of garbage emergencies, they call Possum Man to help save the day. As the distress signal illuminates the night sky, he recognizes the duty to respond and devour all the surplus trash. Such circumstances arise when Batman is preoccupied and unable to attend to these requests. Possums are creepy, and we wouldn’t want them hanging out in our yard.

These two boars should find a more private setting, as their public display of affection in the middle of the road is far from pleasant for onlookers. Their intimate session is causing a major traffic jam and significantly diverting the attention of drivers. Imagine telling your boss you are late because animals were doing it on the road. To their surprise, the camera revealed that the feline had befriended an unconventional group in the backyard, characterized by their terrible smell. He blends right in with them, besides their noxious odor.

The presence of vultures typically signifies the presence of a deceased organism in the vicinity. In the unfortunate event of a medical error, some claim that local vultures are summoned to conceal any evidence that may have resulted from such mistakes. They must be hanging around the hospital just in case someone needs their special help. If you are in the hospital and see vultures in the courtyard, it is probably not a good sign.

Unbeknownst to the deer, its decision to play a game of catch proved more challenging than anticipated, particularly when it came to returning the thrown ball. It’s a good thing bucks lose their antlers and regrow them every year; he only has to look like a dork for a couple more months.

After their son took a trip to the beach, they expected to see pictures of him and his friends, the ocean, or even a sunset, but that wasn’t the case for them. The sole photograph captured by the boy featured the footprint of a bird and its accompanying aftermath.
